Rookie Quarterbacks Showcase Their Talents
Caleb Williams made his much-anticipated season debut against the Buffalo Bills. During his 18 snaps on Saturday, he completed 4 of 7 pass attempts, amassing 95 yards. He also demonstrated his dual-threat capability by adding 13 yards on the ground, providing a glimpse of his versatile skill set.
Bo Nix, however, did not start the game. Jarrett Stidham took the initial snaps. When Nix finally took to the field, he completed 15 of 21 pass attempts, accumulating 125 yards and one touchdown. Adding to his solid performance, Nix contributed 17 rushing yards. According to TruMedia, Nix's average yards per attempt stood at a modest 5.4 yards, indicating a need for more explosive plays down the line.
